Parish Pastoral Council
The purpose and function of the Parish Pastoral Council is to discern the needs of the parish and to serve as a consultative body to the Pastor. The council assists the pastor in his leadership role of planning, organizing, initiating, promoting, coordinating and reviewing the evangelization, worship, religious education and service activities within the parish. The Parish Pastoral Council is assisted by four commissions: Finance, Faith Formation, Stewardship, and Technology Committee . Each commission has its own by-laws, organizational rules, and various outreach ministries which complement Parish Pastoral Council activities.

Finance Commission
The Finance Commission serves as a consultative body to the pastor regarding fiscal matters of the Parish. This commission assists the Pastor in setting the annual parish budget and monitoring the parish income and expenses throughout the year. It examines, annually, the parish financial records and reports the financial status of the parish to the parishioners. The Finance Commission is made up of individuals who have experience and knowledge of accounting, finance, and general business concepts.

Stewardship Commission
The Parish Stewardship Commission is a consultative body to the Pastor. The Commission oversees the temporal affairs of the parish and affirms and promotes Stewardship as a significant priority and way of life at St Thomas More in order to preserve and/or enhance the parish, provide for the parishioners and community and strives to accomplish the Parish Mission.

Core Planning Team
The Core Planning Team assists the pastor by coordinating the planning of all of the various Ministries. The core Planning Team assists the Ministries to develop their annual goals and processes for implementing their goals. The Core Planning Team also coordinates Leadership Retreats and Quarterly Leadership Meetings.

Building Committee
The Building Committee is a consultative body that provides assistance to the Pastor for all maintenance and new construction activities of the parish.

Faith Formation Commission
The Faith Formation Commission is a consultative body to the Pastor and the Parish's Faith Formation Office. The commission works to achieve the Archdiocese's and parish's goals for on-going faith formation and establishes policies and sets goals pertaining to the life-long faith formation of the parishioners of St. Thomas More Church.

Liturgy Committee
The Liturgy Committee works with the Pastor to formulate policy regarding sacramental prayer of the parish along with planning and preparing liturgical celebrations. The Liturgy Committee coordinates all of the liturgical ministries and assists in training lectors, ushers, and Eucharistic ministers. The committee also recruits and trains altar servers.

Technology Committee
The Technology Committee serves as a consultative body to the pastor. This Committee assists the Pastor in monitoring computer technology. The committee makes recommendations to the Pastor on the purchase and maintenance of computer related equipment. Further, the committee assists the Pastor in the management and maintenance of the parish website and social media products.

Applefest Committee
The Applefest Committee works with the Pastor to organize and manage the activities of the largest social and fundraising activity of the parish. Generally, the Applefest includes a garage sale, a car show, a raffle, as well as a variety of other family and community fair activities.

Women of STM
The Women of STM Committee works with the Pastor to organize the women of the parish into a common effort for the good of the church.
The Women of STM coordinate the activities of the Women's Club. They assist with funerals and luncheons. They provide parish community meals twice per year and they volunteer for other parish activities as needed.
